In 2017, The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reported that motorcycle accidents in Oklahoma resulted in the deaths of 93 individuals. While each motorcycle accident is not fatal, they are often among the most catastrophically injurious types of collisions as there is little protection for riders at the time of impact. Additionally, many accidents involving motorcycles are caused by high rates of speed or lack of visibility, alongside other potentially life-threatening factors.
