Accident News on May 30, 2019
Broken Arrow, OK (May 30, 2019) – On May 27th, around 11:24 p.m., Oklahoma Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a pedestrian accident near the intersection of 241st East Avenue and 103rd Street South.
According to reports, 20-year-old Rion Hunt was walking in tall weeds on the southbound side of 241st Street when he suddenly darted out in front of traffic. In entering the roadway, Hunt was struck by a Chevy 2500 driven by 47-year-old Justin Easley.
Hunt sustained head and trunk internal injuries in the collision and was LifeFlighted to St. John Hospital in Tulsa for treatment. Easley was uninjured in the incident.
