Accident News on June 7, 2019
Oklahoma City, OK (June 7, 2019) – Shortly after midnight on June 7th, Oklahoma Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 35, near the Northeast 36th Street exit.
Reports of the incident show that a BMW was traveling along the northbound side of I-35 when the vehicle ran out of gas. The BMW stalled in the middle of the roadway.
A car coming from behind failed to stop, crashing into the rear-end of the BMW. The impact of the collision caused the car to burst into flames.
Three people were injured in the collision, including a 5-year-old child. The five-year-old suffered head injuries and was admitted into an area hospital in critical condition.
