Oklahoma City, OK (May 29, 2019) – Around 2:30 a.m., on May 29, Oklahoma Highway Patrol responded to a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 40.
The incident occurred along Interstate 40 westbound near the entrance for Interstate 35 south. According to reports, a motor vehicle collision occurred along the roadway. The collision caused a blockage along the highway, preventing traffic from flowing through.
At least one person was injured in this collision and transported to an area hospital for medical treatment.
Crews worked to clear the scene of the accident and reopened the interstate within one hour. The cause of the incident remains under investigation at this time.
