Although we would like to think traveling by foot is a safer alternative to traveling in motor vehicles, pedestrians are still at risk for sustaining injuries in a car accident. The sad and unfortunate truth is that no matter how many laws are put in place to protect pedestrians across our state, hundreds of them continue to sustain injuries along roadways throughout our state.
Pedestrians involved in motor vehicle accidents are more likely to sustain spinal cord injuries, TBIs, broken bones, and other debilitating injuries that have a major impact on their lives. These injuries often require hospitalization and therapy. In cases where pedestrians are injured by distracted drivers, they can contact an Oklahoma pedestrian accident attorney to seek justice and compensation.
