At this time, we wish to extend our warmest thoughts and prayers to the victim as we remain optimistic for his full recovery.
A bicycle accident in Oklahoma can quickly result in serious and even catastrophic injuries, particularly because there is generally very little protection in place for a bicyclist at the time of impact. Furthermore, negligent drivers who engage in excessive speed, distracted driving, driving while intoxicated, and drowsy driving, among other reckless actions, tend to increase the severity of damages. While it may be difficult, it is important for victims to know that they may have substantial rights moving forward.
