Owassa, OK (May 22, 2019) – On May 22, Owassa Police and emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Highway 169.
According to reports, a pedestrian was attempting to cross Highway 169 near the intersection of 86th Street North during the early morning hours. As the pedestrian entered out into the roadway, he or she was struck by a semi-truck.
The pedestrian sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene of the incident.
The incident remains under investigation at this time.
