Accident News on May 16, 2019
Pawnee County, OK (May 16, 2019) – Around 10:40 a.m., on Tuesday, May 14th, Oklahoma Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on US Highway 64 near State Highway 18.
According to OHP, a motor vehicle was traveling north along OK-18, when the driver failed to stop at a stop sign. As a result, the vehicle entered into the southbound lanes of US-64 and was struck by another vehicle.
Two of the four occupants of the vehicle were injured in the collision and transported to an area hospital for treatment. Two other occupants of the vehicle, who were identified as 78-year-old Agnes Madden and 50-year-old Tammy Liggins, were transported to an area hospital, where they later succumbed to their injuries.
The driver in the second vehicle was uninjured.
