Sand Springs, OK (April 29, 2019) – On Thursday, April 25, police and emergency crews respond to the scene of a pedestrian accident at Skates in Sand Springs.
According to reports, around 10:30 p.m., a woman and a man at the location were arguing. The man states that the woman went after his wife with a pair of skates in an attempt to harm her. The manager at the skating rink called the police and told everyone to leave the location.
While leaving the skating rink, Chanista Karns struck two individuals with her vehicle before fleeing the scene. Karns was later arrested and charged with leaving the scene of an injury accident/death and assault with a deadly weapon.
