Accident News on June 4, 2019
Washita County, OK (June 4, 2019) – On Tuesday, June 4th, Oklahoma Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident along State Highway 152.
According to reports, just after 8:00 a.m., a vehicle heading west along State Highway 152. For unknown reasons, the vehicle left the roadway then over-corrected and entered into the eastbound lane of traffic. The vehicle was then struck by a vehicle heading east along the highway.
52-year-old Jaime Eleazar Borunda Sr. sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene. A second driver in the incident was airlifted to an area hospital for treatment. Another passenger was transported to an area hospital in serious condition, while two others were treated on-scene and released.
The cause of the incident remains under investigation at this time.
