At McIntyre Law, we do more than just advocating for your legal needs. We are also dedicated to the Oklahoma community and its success. For the last nine years, in partnership with other organizations and law firms, we have given away about 2,500 free Thanksgiving turkeys to thousands of families along with a day of fun activities and delicious food.
Along with the Oklahoma Association For Justice, Lawyers Fighting Hunger, Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma, and over 125 Oklahoma trial lawyers and law firms, McIntyre Law plans to distribute over 2,500 free Thanksgiving turkeys for low-income families at their 9th Annual Day of Kindness.
There will be four different distribution sites for this event, and free turkeys will be given out one per family on a first-come-first-served basis until they are gone. We want to give away as many turkeys as we can, to as many Oklahomans as possible.
Come and celebrate with us! There will also be face painting for children, a hamburger cookout with over 3,000 burgers and hot dogs donated and prepared by Oklahoma City Firefighters with the Local 157 and 3,000 bags of chips donated by Frito Lay, Inc.
World Kindness Day is a celebration and highlight of good deeds towards others, embracing positivity and the power of a united community. World Kindness Movement introduced this back in 1998 and, to this date, it's observed around the world usually on November 13th. Over time, this movement has evolved into a World of Kindness Week celebration across the United States and other countries.
Oklahoma is one of the hungriest states in the nation, with one in six people suffering from hunger. Winter time is especially troublesome for many families because they have to choose between paying for food or utilities to stay warm. That is why at McIntyre Law we are committed to providing a hot, satisfying, nutritious holiday meal to these families every year.
